The role of good, healthy eating in Island life has been an expanding staple for many years. Conversations about growing, marketing and selling, shopping, preparing, cooking, and serving abound. The Martha’s Vineyard Times and our family of editors, writers, photographers, and designers are extremely proud of the launch of and are excited about its future. The interactive potential we see, and the capacity for extensive content resources, lend themselves to a terrific editorial-reader conversation — a publisher’s dream. And this expansion of the Times’ audience reaching across the full Edible domain is a good moment in which to acknowledge the foresight of Edible Vineyard’s owners, creators, and original publishers/editors, Sam and Ali Berlow, who arrived early at the table and have remained friends and valued advisors. We are grateful to our tireless staff, our advertisers, the Island’s foodies, and most of all our growing base of readers, and as always invite you to share your ideas with us.
